HIAWATHA, KANSAS….Adriana Hylton, formerly of Maple Winds Apartments of Hiawatha, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Maple Heights Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Hiawatha where she was readmitted as a resident in June 2022.  She was 85.

Adriana was an Italian through and through….born in Este, Italy, September 7, 1938 into a large family of Pistore and Rita Fenza Enrico. She grew up in Este where she attended schools, and graduated high school with the class of 1956.

She married Harold Hylton at Stuttgart, Germany, September 8, 1959.  They had made their home in the States' for many years where she worked for nursing homes.

She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include two children Maurice Hylton and Gloria Hylton, and a number of siblings.

Adriana was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harold, and several brothers and sisters.

Her wish was to be cremated and buried on the Hylton lot at Bern Cemetery.
