Allen E. Chase, 87, of Holton, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at his home.

He was born on December 18, 1938 in Casa Grande, Arizona, the son of Ernest and Irene Chase Armenta.

Allen was a journey roofer in California, Arizona and Washington.

He was a member of Lakeview Faith Chapel at Holton and the Roofers Union in California.

He married Janey C. Walker on June 30, 1983 in Miami, Oklahoma. She survives, of the home.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Gena Chase and brothers, including Marvin Armenta.

Other survivors include his children, Joel Chase, Shawn Chase, Scottie Chase, John Chase, Amanda Ash (Rick), Rachel McGrew, Toni Johansen, Richard Sheaffer, Elizabeth Walker and Elija Walker, two brothers, Charles Armenta and David Armenta, two sisters, Carolyn Shewmaker and Joanna Peterson, grandchildren, Gabriel McGrew, Mordecai McGrew, Harley Nelson, Charlie Nelson, Brittany Blanton (Colten), Clint Lovell, Jared Johansen, Ruth Johansen, Constance Kautz-Johansen, Athena Walker, Morrison Walker and Alana Walker, and great grandchildren, Paisley McGrew, Azrael McGrew, Carter Hare, Jayden Hare, Grayson Johansen, Domonic Blanton, Grantley Blanton, Brandi Rose and Dash.

No services are planned at this time. Inurnment will be later in the Mayetta Cemetery. Chapel Oaks Funeral Home is assisting the family.
