Betty Ann Hodge, 76, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at her home near Hoyt.

She was born September 23, 1949 in Easton, Missouri, the daughter of Willard and Clara Louise (Scott) Turner.

Betty married Herman “Gene” Hodge on March 20, 1999 in Topeka. He survives, of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Danny Ray Hodge, a brother, James “Jim” Turner, and sisters, Wanda Hernandez, Bonnie Blachard, Judy Knorr, Beatrice Turner and Alice Peek.

Other survivors include her children, Michael Hodge, Christina Lopez (Mike), Sherri Hodge (Andrew), Lynnell Hodge and Heath Hodge (Kasey), four sisters, Rita Turner, Carolyn Studna, Lucy Taylor (Clarence) and Pamela Nichols, eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews, including Clinton Turner.

Funeral Services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 15th at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt. Burial will follow in the Hoyt Cemetery. Calling hours for Betty will be after 9:00 a.m. on Monday, where a visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
