Christopher Michael Koon, 19, of Horton, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at his home.

He was born on September 17, 2005 in Topeka, the son of Michael and Gayleen Kreitzer Koon.  He graduated from Onaga High School in 2024.

Survivors include his mother, Gayleen Koon (Joseph Roan) and his father, Michael Koon, all of Horton, his maternal grandmother, Carol Beaman, Topeka, his paternal grandmother, Kelly Koon, Horton, four sisters, Meaghan Harrison, Topeka, Reaghan Koon, Mayetta, Emily Carl, Horton and Lilly Carl, in Texas, and a brother, Austin Kreitzer, in Germany.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 5th at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time.  Inurnment will follow at the Wetmore Cemetery.
