SHAWNEE, KS – Cindy Perez, 74, of Shawnee, died Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Shawnee Gardens Rehabilitation Facility.

She was born February 21, 1947 Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Eugene Craft, Sr. and Amber Jobe Craft. She graduated from Washington High School in Kansas City, KS in 1965.

Cindy was a homemaker, and had worked at Revco and Osco in their pharmacy departments.

She was a member of the Sunset Hills Christian Church in Kansas City, KS.

She married John Perez on October 2, 1965 at Duluth, KS. He survives, of the home.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bill Craft.

Other survivors include a son, John Perez, Jr. (Angie), Kansas City, KS; two daughters, Michelle Perez-Sparks (Bob), Shawnee and Robin Kidd (Michael), Wichita; a brother, Eugene Craft, Jr., Pleasant Hill, MO; six grandchildren, Devin, Austin, John III, Cody, Corey and Zachary, and three great grandchildren, Payton, Brody and Kayden.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, October 16th at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Onaga. Cremation will follow the service. Cindy will lie in state from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
