Sparks, KS  …..Elizabeth "Diann" Heimerman, of Sparks, passed away at her home Thursday, October 29, 2020, due to a long battle with cancer.  She was 72.

Diann was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents, brother Russell "Smoke" Davis, sisters:  Brenda Leavey and Shirley Ramsey.

She was born, September 2, 1948, one of nine children born to the late John "Doggy" and Margie Mooney Davis.  She grew up at Sparks where she attended school and graduated high school.  Diann had lived several places across the Midwest but lived most of her life at Sparks.

She married Richard Heimerman January 20, 2001, in Kansas City, Missouri who died January 24, 2009 at Highland.

Survivors include Larry Dean (wife Dolly), Roy (wife Debbie), and Toney, sisters:  Sally Williams and Bert Weis; sons Craig Davis (wife Cathy), Daniel Hoffman (wife Melinda), daughter Theresa Sutton.

Diann also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She requested to be cremated with a visitation to be held in the near future and will be announced by Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Highland.  Inurnment will be next to Richard at Iowa Point Cemetery.
