ONAGA – Dixie W. Kufahl, 88, of Onaga, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the Community Hospital in Onaga.

She was born February 2, 1933 on the farm at Green, Kansas, the daughter of Gerald "Jack" and Clara Mitchell Gebhardt. She graduated from Wheaton High School.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Duluth, the Ladies Aid at the church, and she was a Den Mother for many years with the Cub Scouts.

Dixie was a homemaker. She had also worked at the State Office Building in Topeka before being married and later worked at the flower shop in Onaga for over twenty-seven years.

She married Duane L. Kufahl on June 7, 1953 at Duluth. He preceded her in death on March 20, 2014.

Other survivors include a son, Mark Kufahl and wife Pam, and a daughter, Susan Labbe and husband Dave, all of Onaga; three grandchildren, Matt, Lucas and Abbie, and four great grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time. Inurnment will be in the Fancy Creek Cemetery at Green. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice, and may be sent in care of the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, P.O. Box 312, Onaga, 66521.
