Donald Francis Reding, 80, of Mayetta, died Thursday January 21, 2021 at the
Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.

He was born August 3, 1940 at Wamego, the son of Vincent and Irene Bernritter Reding.
After his father died when Don was young, he was raised by his mother and step-father,
Cloyd Dreyer. He graduated from Washburn Rural High School in Topeka in 1958.

He then built and worked the family farm near Mayetta where he raised his family.

He married Connie L. Rickhoff on November 26, 1959 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She
survives, of the home.

Don was preceded in death by his father, Vincent Reding, his mother, Irene Fitzgerald, a
son, Norman Reding and a grandson, Lane Reding.

Other survivors include two sons, Kevin Reding and wife Debbie, of Leoti, KS and Scott
Reding (Tony), of San Antonio, TX, a daughter, Denise Reding, of San Antonio, TX, a
sister, Doris Longnecker (John), four grandchildren, Megan Robertson (Clay), Logan
Reding, Drew Reding (Becky) and Kyle Reding (Faith), a great grandson, Cooper and
many cousins.

No services are planned at this time. Memorials are suggested to Upward Transitions
