TOPEKA – Jaymie Lynn Lister, 20, of Topeka, passed away Friday, June 10, 2022 in Topeka.

She was born September 26, 2001 in North Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Scott and Jessica Lister.  She attended Royal Valley Schools and graduated in 2020.

She loved to read, and always had a book pulled up on her phone.  She was known for her crazy long nails.  She loved the color red.  Everything she owned was red.  Jaymie owned over ten pairs of Crocs, they were the only shoes she really wore.  She loved Harry Potter and had went to Pennsylvania and Universal Studios in Florida to visit the exhibits and parks because of her love of Harry Potter.

Jaymie and her best friend Makayla operated a Nanny service from their home in Topeka.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jessica Starnes, her grandparents, Gary Lister and Linda Lister, Jimmy Starnes and Rhonda Farmer, and her uncle, Matt Murphy.

Survivors include her father, Scott Lister, Topeka, a brother, Shane Reno, in Missouri, grandmothers, Mary Lou Starnes, North Kansas City, MO and Nancy Lister, Topeka, her best friend, Makayla Kieffer, Topeka, aunts and uncles, Sherry and Terry Scrivener, Amy Dahlstrom and Kelly Barker, all in Missouri, Tammy Murphy, Mayetta, Rod and Kim Lister, Topeka, and cousins, Noah Scrivener, Raegen Scrivener, Madeline Harms, Jarrett Roy, Clarissa Murphy, and Brooke Bollman.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 17 ^th at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt.  Family and friends will meet from 10:00 until service time on Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials are suggested to the Jamie Lister Memorial Fund, to be designated later, and may be sent in care of the funeral home, P.O.
