WETMORE – Jerry Lee Kissel, 66, of Wetmore, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2022 at his home.

He was born September 5, 1955 at Holton, the son of John and Lucille Goodman Kissel. He graduated from Wetmore High School in 1974.

Jerry had worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber in Topeka for twenty-three years.

He was a member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church and the Kansas Sampler Foundation.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Ted Kissel.

Survivors include his mother, Lucille Kissel, Sabetha, two brothers, Jon Kissel (Joyce), Douglass and Jim Kissel (Sally), Wetmore, two nephews, Jon Russel Kissel and Jason Kissel, and a niece, Jamie Grollmes.

Memorial graveside services and inurnment will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9th at the Fairview Cemetery at Goff. Family and friends will meet from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton.
