Jesse R. Flowers, 42, of Centralia, died Saturday, March 9, 2024, at his home, after a recent stroke.

He was born May 25, 1981, at Seneca, the son of Samuel and Nancy Sanders Flowers.  He graduated from Onaga High School in 2000.

Jesse had worked for the Onaga Coop, the City of Centralia, and as a truck driver for Pottawatomie County.  For the past year he had worked for the Mitch Hanner Ranch at Onaga.

He married Crystal Dawn Goin on October 16, 2021 at Onaga. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two step-sons, Travis Goin and Alexander Goin, both of the home, two step-daughters, Kaylie Woerman, Washington, KS and Victoria Woerman, of the home, two brothers, John Flowers and Justin Flowers, both of Havensville, one sister, Tesha Pollock (Brian), Wabaunsee, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A visitation and Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 22nd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Onaga.  Private family inurnment will be at a later date in the Havensville Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the American Stroke Association or the American Suicide Foundation, and may be sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box 312, Onaga, KS  66521.
