Jimmy L. Stithem, 52, of Lafayette, Colorado, passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 at St. Anthony North Health Campus in Westminster, CO.

He was born October 2, 1969 in Topeka, KS, the son of Myron and Geraldine Gooderl Stithem.  He graduated from Royal Valley High School in Hoyt, KS in 1988 and received his Bachelor's Degree in Education from Washburn University.

Jimmy was a jack-of-all trades and had operated his own landscaping and small engine repair businesses.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his partner, Kim King, of the home, his mother, Geraldine "Gerri" Stithem, Hoyt, two brothers, Jerry Stithem (Rhonda), Jetmore, KS, Jeff Stithem (Brenda), Hoyt, two sisters, Myra Stithem, Hoyt and Kim Gerety (Thad), Topeka, two nephews, five nieces, five great nephews, and seven great nieces. He was "Papa" to Bethany Pfeiffer and Ryan Pfeiffer's four children. He is also survived by many relatives and friends that were loved like family to Jimmy.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 17 ^th at the Northland Christian Church in Topeka.  Burial will follow in the Hoyt Cemetery.  Jimmy will lie in state after 9:30 a.m. at the church.  Family and friends will meet from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt.  Memorials are suggested to the Jimmy Stithem Memorial Fund, in care of Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, PO Box 280, Hoyt, KS  66440.
