JoAnn Coke, 91, formerly of Soldier, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at her daughter's home in Hoyt.

She was born November 27, 1930 in Topeka, the daughter of Dean and Eula Wyre Billings. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1949.

JoAnn was a homemaker and had also worked in retail sales for many years.

She married Ernest Coke on November 20, 1948 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on January 23, 2015.

JoAnn was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marjorie Adams.

Survivors include a son, Craig Coke (Lois), Tonganoxie; three daughters, Angie Brown, Hoyt, Pam Jones (Bob), Topeka, and Laurie Wilhelm (George), Phoenix, AZ; one sister, Donna Powell (Phil), Phoenix, AZ; ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

A Memorial Graveside Service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 16th at the Holton Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Heart of Jackson Humane Society, and may be sent in care of the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, PO Box 1034, Holton, KS 66436. There will be a register book available to sign at the funeral home.
