John Edward Campbell was born in Horton Kansas on June 19, 1945. He walked on April 30, 2025 surrounded by many loving family members and friends. He resided at BCDS Apache Group Home

John was the third born to Marvin, "Punk" and Mildred Campbell who were there to greet him, along with brother Marvin, "Sonny" Campbell and sister Barb Crabtree.

Left to celebrate John, his brother Douglas Campbell, and sisters Linda Vogele and Debbie (Chad) Gray.  John also has many nieces, nephews, and cousins that will miss you.

John was a member of the Ioway Tribe of NE Kansas and SE Nebraska.

Friends may call at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, Hiawatha after 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday

Funeral Services are planned for 1:30 p.m.  Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, Hiawatha.  Burial will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Rulo, Nebraska.  The family will meet with friends one hour prior to services

Memorial contributions are suggested to the John Campbell Memorial Fund sent in care of the funeral home, 124 S 7th St., 66434

When is health permitted, John enjoyed working at the BCDS Work Activity Center. Although he visited more than he worked!
