HOLTON - John Carl Hurst, of Holton, passed away on Tuesday November 24th, 2020 at the age of 66.

Prior to moving to Kansas, John was a long-time resident of West Allis, Wisconsin. John was born on July 2nd, 1954, the son of George and Dolores Borchardt Hurst.

He had worked at Forbes Air Force Base in maintenance and later at Jackson Heights Schools until his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his longtime partner, Pam Oren; his mother, Dolores Hurst; his children, Elizabeth (Martin) Holley and Paul (Amanda) Hurst; a granddaughter, Alexis Holley; younger brothers, Mark (Karen), Brian (Judie) and Kevin (Pauline); many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends
