Joyce Ann Miller, 73, of Savannah, Missouri passed suddenly on Tuesday, February 18, 2025. Born on February 2, 1952, in Holton, Kansas to the parents of Jay and Melba Herring, one of four children; Bill (Jodi), Kenny (Lisa) and Frank.  She grew up in Blair, Kansas and graduated with Highland High School Class of 1970.

Joyce married Gregory Miller in Highland, Kansas, on December 12, 1970, and together they built a loving family. She was the devoted mother of three children (her Triple J's): Jeremy Jay (Jami), Jana Lee (Darrin), and Jonathan Thomas (Wendy). She also cherished her five grandchildren: Bailee, Esabelle, Samuel, Mikaela (Josiah), and Joshua.

Joyce's life was centered around her family, and she took great joy in spending time with them. Her warmth and kindness left a lasting impact on those who knew her.  She also loved quilting, enjoying nature, watching baseball and the Kansas Jayhawks.

Joyce was resilient and a hard worker who had numerous roles in the family and the community, she was always active and dedicated.  Joyce served customers for Miller Implement, Inc. and Martin Tractor Company for over 40 years and was gifted in these fields.

She was greeted in heaven by her parents, Jay and Melba Herring, parent in-loves, Tom and Beverly Miller, brother-in-law, Larry Beaman, sister-in-law, Billie Herring, niece, Christie Herring and many aunts and uncles

May her memory bring comfort to all who loved her.

A visitation from 10:00-11:00 will take place before a celebration of Life on Thursday, February 27, 2025, which is held at 11:00-12:00 at the Highland Christian Church, 102 Main Street, Highland, Kansas.

Friends may call at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, Highland from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Wednesday to sign the register book.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the local EMS services or veteran support groups of your choice, which may be sent in care of funeral home, PO Box 33, Highland 66035.
