Karen I. "Katie" Daubon, 65, of Mayetta, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at the Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.

She was born October 23, 1960 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of George and Loretta Compton Seivers.

Katie worked as a cashier at the north Topeka Walmart for many years.

She married David W. Daubon on December 31, 2003 in Sumter, South Carolina.  He survives, of the home.

Katie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Donna Seivers.

Other survivors include two sons, Scott Taylor, Sumter, SC and David L. Daubon (Gaby), Shawnee, KS, two daughters, Valerie Boykin, Charleston, SC and Angela Brunson (William), Sumter, SC, and three grandchildren, Donna Lynne Soward, Shawn Soward and Caleb Boykin.

Services for Katie will be held at a later date.  Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton is assisting the family.
