Lawrence Michael "Larry" Wassell, Sr., age 72, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

Larry was born on May 30, 1951 in Fitchburg, MA to Frank Wassell and Anne Cymbalak Wassell. He graduated from Middletown Ohio High School in 1969 and earned his Associates in Electrical Engineering Technology from the ITT Technical Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana. He moved to Texas in 1977. This is where he met his wife, Bernice Smith and the two were married on August 4, 1984.

Larry worked as an Electronic Technician for 42 years. He was a member of the Central Bible Church of Fort Worth and the Arlington Sportsman's Club.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, David Wassell.

Larry is survived by his wife, Bernice R. Wassell; daughter, Jennifer Peterson and husband, Marco; son, L. Michael Wassell, Jr. and wife, Josabet;  three grandchildren; brother-in-law, Raymond Smith and wife, Debbie; sister-in-law, Martha Smith; brother-in-law, James Smith and wife, Laura; sister-in-law, Ella Smith and fiancé, Robert Folsom; and nieces and nephews and their families.

Funeral services in Texas will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 9th at Central Bible Church in Fr. Worth, TX.  Visitation to begin prior to the service at 10:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Larry's memory to the Storehouse Food Pantry, https://wearecentral.org/storehouse/

A private Graveside Service will be held at the Onaga Cemetery in Onaga, Kansas.
