Linda Paulette Hartley, age 72, of Troy, formerly of Severance, passed away at home November 12, 2021, with her fiancé Joe and daughter Mindy due to complications from COPD.

Linda was born April 19, 1949, in Seattle, Washington, and was blessed to have three children:  Melissa, Mindy, and Gary.  She loved music, singing, movies, crocheting and doing crafts.

She was active on the city council for Severance, KS a few years.  She also worked for NEK CAP and Highland Healthcare as a housekeeper for a short time.

Linda is survived by her three children, her fiancé, eight grandchildren fifteen great-grandchildren and two brothers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, and three brothers.

Memorial services are planned for 11 a.m. Monday, November 22, 2021, at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Highland, with Chaplin Tim Champ of Freedom Hospice officiating.

The family will meet with friends one hour prior to service.
