Lois M. Voss, age 91 of Hiawatha, KS passed away on June 7, 2024. She was born in Deshler, NE on January 16, 1933. She graduated from Deshler High School in 1951 and attended Concordia Teacher's College in Seward, NE. On December 10, 1955, she was united in marriage to Donald Voss.  Lois and Don spent time living in Beatrice and North Platte, Nebraska; St. Joseph, Missouri; and Hiawatha, Kansas. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, watching the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs, and cooking. She was known for making some of the best cinnamon rolls around.  Most of all, Lois loved her family.

Those left to mourn her passing are her children, Cindy (Terry) Tollefson, of Olathe, KS; Kim (Dennis) Kleopfer of Fairview, KS; Jackie (Daron) Wohlgemuth of Olathe, KS; Greg (Deven) Voss of Olathe, KS; grandchildren, Brian (Mandi) Tollefson of Reseda, CA; Matthew (Jenessa) Kleopfer of Fredonia, KS; Tyler (Gentri) Tollefson of Tomball, TX; Andrew (Jessica) of Fairview, KS; Jenna (Rob) Rundberg of Olathe, KS; Ethan Voss (fiancée Grace Bowerman) of Olathe, KS; and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Emma Atenhan Magnus; brother, Roger Magnus and sister, Donlan Noojin; and her husband, Don.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at First Lutheran Church in Sabetha, KS. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. at the Deshler Cemetery, Deshler, NE.

Friends may call at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, Hiawatha after 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, the family will receive friends and relatives from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, Hiawatha, KS, and at the church one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lutheran Hour Ministries or Lois Voss Memorial Fund to be distributed to various Christian organizations she supported
