Marilyn Inez (Hartter) Blevins, 69, of Fairview, passed away on March 28, 2023.  She was born December 25, 1953, in Sabetha, KS, to Wilbur E. and Inez I. (Rieger) Hartter.

Marilyn attended Sabetha High School and later earned her GED.

In 1970 Marilyn was united in marriage to Kenneth Carver in Fairview, KS.  To this union one son Scott was born.  They later divorced.

Marilyn was united in marriage to David Hertlein in Topeka, KS.  To this union one son David Hertlein, Jr. was born.  They later divorced.

Marilyn was united in marriage to Carl Blevins in Fairview, KS.  They shared over 20 years of marriage before his passing on May 30, 2020.

She earned her cosmetology license and worked at the Apostolic Christian Home, Sabetha,  KS for several years attending to the needs of the residents.

Marilyn was a member of the United Church of Christ, Fairview, KS.

Marilyn is survived by her son David Hertlein, Jr., Topeka, KS, 3 brothers Harvey (JoAnn), of Fairview, Lynn (Peggy), of Sabetha, Charles also of Fairview 3 sisters Teresa (Don) Schuyler, Holton, Carolyn (Gary) Gilbert, Fairview, and Renee (Norm) Schmitt, Sabetha.  She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.  Marilyn is also survived by sister in law Norma Hartter of Topeka.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband Carl, son Scott, and brother Kenneth.

It was Marilyn's wish to be cremated.
