Nancy Jane Judah, 82, of Hiawatha, passed away peacefully January 3, 2024 at Maple Heights Nursing Home in Hiawatha where she had been a resident for 13 months.  She previously had made her home at Vintage Park Assisted Living Apartments for two and a half years.

Nancy was born May 14, 1941, at Hiawatha, the only child born to Thomas E. and Susan Jane Schilling Faidley.  She grew up in Hiawatha where she attended Hiawatha Schools, graduating from Hiawatha High School with the class of 1959.  She later attended Kansas State University-Manhattan prior to attending Peru State Teachers College.  Her ex-husband was employed with the FBI, which took her all over the United States.  After they divorced, she returned to Hiawatha where she lived out the balance of her life.

She was a homemaker and to say she loved collecting antiques was an understatement!

Nancy survived by two sons Robert and Brent, both of which live in Kansas City, Missouri; good friends Charles Moyer and Wanda Moyer, both of Hiawatha.

It was Nancy's wish to be cremated with no services planned.  Inurnment will be at a later date at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hiawatha with her parents.
