Nikki Wing Lampinen, 53, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka.

She was born July 13, 1971 in Holton, the daughter of Gary and Donna Fowler Shafer.

Nikki had worked in the medical field all her life.

She married Donald Wing in 1992.  He preceded her in death in 2021.  She married Ronald Lampinen on May 25, 2024 in Topeka.  He survives, of the home.

Nikki was preceded in death by her mother.

Other survivors include her father and step-mother, Gary and Patti Shafer, Topeka, a sister, Trisha Cattrell (Travis), Circleville, a brother, Andrew Shafer, Topeka, a step-son, Donald Wing, Holton, a step-daughter, Heather Holt (Rob), Mayetta, four grandchildren, Meaghan Harrison (Andrew), Reaghan Koon (John), Courtnee Wing and Colbee Wing, three great grandchildren, Hunter, Hudson and Cooper, two nephews, Austin (Madison) and Joshua (Sam), two nieces, Dakota and Kaylyn, and two great nieces, Harper and Olivia.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 5th at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hoyt.  Inurnment will follow in the Hoyt Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to Midland Hospice House, and may be sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box 280, Hoyt, KS  66440.
