Patricia “Pat” Jolene Kolterman, of Onaga, Kansas, passed away June 25, 2026, at her home at the age of 77.

She was born April 12, 1949, in Seneca, Kansas, to Joseph “Joe” and Agatha (Sunnenberg) Sanders. She grew up in the Coal Creek Community with her 5 siblings, Kenneth “Kenny” (Sharon) Sanders, Joseph Bernard “Smokie” Sanders, Nelda (Greg) Dulac, Nancy (Sam) Flowers and Jena (Ed) Lotridge. She graduated from Corning High School in 1967. She lived in Seneca, Kansas, while raising 3 young daughters until she met and married Donald “Don” Kolterman in Onaga, Kansas, on August 27, 1977. She welcomed four additional children from that union.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband, Don; her parents, Joe and Agatha Sanders; one brother, Kenny Sanders; two brothers-in-law, Charlie Kolterman and Jim Wheeler; and one great-grandchild, Cove Kolterman.

She is survived by her seven children; Lisa (Kenny) Anthony, Terri (Mike) Parr, Amy (Paul) Abitz, Brian (Tina) Kolterman, Brad Kolterman, Patti (Brandon) Kolterman-Falk, and Mandi (David) Stout, her 17 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 7 step-great grandchildren.

She will be cremated and laid to rest at a graveside service held at the Coal Creek Cemetery on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 11 am. Memorial contributions can be made to the Onaga Senior Center in her memory.
