HOLTON – Paul Bernard Krogman, 89, of Holton, died Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at The Pines South Nursing Facility near Holton.

He was born August 30, 1931 at Sabetha, the son of Martin and Clara Osterhaus Krogman.  Paul was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served with the 9 ^th Division in Germany.

He was a postal worker for thirty-three years, and a lifelong farmer.  He was the Assistant Post Master at Holton for part of his career and retired in August of 1992.

Paul was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church in Holton, and a charter member of Holton Knights of Columbus Council No 4219.  He was also a member of Holton V.F.W. Post No. 1367, Holton American Legion Post No. 44, the Postal Worker's Union, NARF, and a former member of the Holton Eagles Club.

He married Patricia Grannell on April 12, 1958 at Holton.  She survives.

Other survivors include a son, David Krogman, (Jo), Holton, a daughter, Carolyn Cochren (Luke), Holton, one brother, Bob Krogman, Holton, four sisters, Alice Doyle-Lindemuth and Gladys Law, both of Topeka, Mary Ann Turner, Demming, NM, and Judy Barrow, Denison, six grandchildren, Christene, Jennifer, Kelly, Andrew, Carlene and Emma and fourteen great grandchildren.

Services for Paul will be held at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to St. Dominic Catholic Church, and may be sent in care of the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, PO Box 1034, Holton, KS  66436.
