Phyllis was born in Sparks KS.

She worked at the St. Joe Power and Light Company, before marrying Fred Mueller of Easton Mo, later married Daniel Roark of Lowell MA.

Phyllis enjoyed gardening and cooking.  Friends nicknamed her as the spice girl. Baking cinnamon and yeast rolls were a favorite pastime.

As an only child, Phyllis was always so thankful for all of her cousins from the Gibson and Billups families.

Phyllis is preceded by her parents Laura (Gibson) and Truman Billups, and Son Glen Mueller.

Survived by children, Brenda Mueller of Clearwater Florida, Lora Hatch of Port St. Lucie Florida, Colleen Dino of Oakland CA, Michelle Strassel of Lake Worth FL, and David Roark of Lake Worth FL; grandchildren: Jordan Hanna of Jupiter FL, Kaitlen Mueller of Palm Beach Gardens FL, Conner Mueller of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Sean Strassel of Lake Worth FL

Cremation is planned with graveside inurnment planned for 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 20,  at Highland Cemetery. Pastor Jerry Petering will officiate.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Highland Cemetery which may be sent in care of Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, PO Box 33, Highland 66035, who is assisting the family.
