Richard "Dickie" A. Armstrong, Mayetta, Kansas, passed away January 19, 2022.

Richard was born December 19, 1951 to Richard and Rose (Fuller) Armstrong at Great Bend, Kansas.

He graduated from Onaga High School, class of 1970. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was retired from the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.

Richard is survived by one son, Josh Armstrong, Seattle, Washington and a sister, Marty Matzke, Wheaton, Kansas.

Mr. Armstrong was preceded in death by his parents; older brother, Roderick Armstrong, Onaga, Kansas and younger sister, Mechelle Armstrong, Dallas, Texas.

In lieu of a memorial service, please remember him by enjoying a card game with friends or fishing with your dog; both of those activities brought him so much joy.  Memorials are suggested to the Onaga Historical Society and may be sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box 312, Onaga, KS  66521.
