ONAGA – Sally L. McCulley, 71, of Onaga, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at Anew Healthcare in Holton.

She was born January 12, 1953 in Eunice, New Mexico.  She was the beloved daughter of Cecil and Maureen Paulsen.  She graduated from Sooner High School in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and married Charles E. McCulley, III on June 8, 1973 in San Antonio, Texas.  The couple welcomed a son, Charles, IV.

Sally is survived by her husband, Charles E. McCulley, III, her son, Charles E. McCulley, IV, and his wife Jennyffer McCulley, who reside in California, along with her two grandsons, Sean and Liam McCulley.

She was a pillar of strength, and her life was a testament to love and loyalty.  Her kindness knew no bounds; she was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.  We will carry her legacy with us – lessons of love, resilience, unwavering support, and dedication that will continue to be a guiding light for us all.

No services are planned for Sally at this time.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Onaga High School, and may be sent in care of Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, PO Box 312, Onaga, KS  66521.
