Sarah L. Brown, 95, of Holton, (formerly of Wetmore, KS), went home to the Lord on Monday, July 6, 2020.

She was born October 7, 1924 near Corning, KS, the daughter of Clyde and Emma (Neighbor) Tomlinson. Sarah graduated from Corning High School. She was a clerk-typist and also taught school (after taking "Normal Training"). She later worked at the SlimMaker Dress Factory and CR Industries.

Sarah married Floyd Stanley "Bud" Brown on July 21, 1944. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1991. Also preceding her were her parents, three brothers, two sisters, and her son-in-law, Jim Decker.

Sarah is survived by her daughter, Leann Decker, of Holton; two grandsons, Dan Decker (Lisa), of Ridgecrest, CA and Doug Decker (D'Ann), of Holton; three great-grandchildren, Cody Decker (Samantha), of Ridgecrest, CA, Kaylie Zimmerman (Kyle), of Holton and Kara Tanking (Trent), of Holton; three great-great grandchildren, Hadley, Max and Lennix Zimmerman (triplets), of Holton; her sister, Frances Johnstone, of Centralia, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Due to current Coronavirus concerns, there will be no services at this time. Private inurnment in the Wetmore Cemetery will be held at a later date, along with a Celebration of Life. Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the Wetmore, KS EMT's, and may be sent in care of the funeral home, PO Box 1034, Holton 66436.
