Hiawatha, KS…Sue Ann Moler passed away peacefully October 17, 2025 at Wathena Health Care and Rehab Center where she had been a resident since May 2017.

Sue was born at Sabetha in Nemaha County, KS November 4, 1947, the eldest of two children born to Ray and Maude Josephine Jenkins Moler and had lived most of her life in Hiawatha.   She spent her growing up years in Powhattan where she graduated from high school in 1965.  Sue worked in restaurants around Horton as a waitress, also as a dishwasher and cook.

She like to read books, play bingo, and watch television.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Raymond, and a nephew Marcus.

Survivors include nieces:  Melissa Moler, Sondra Moler, and Rhonda Moler and a good friend Pam Flint of Wathena.  When she lived at home, she always enjoyed her cats:  Spooky, Buddy, and Cricket.

Graveside inurnment services are planned for 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at Powhattan Cemetery.
