ST. GEORGE – Tony R. Allred, 62, of St. George, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Community Hospital in Onaga.

He was born June 23, 1959 in Rockingham, North Carolina, the son of James "Jock" Saunders and Emma Allred.

Tony was a carpenter. He loved to fish and eat fish, especially bone in fish, and going to the casino. His favorite song was Amazing Grace. He was loved by everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Anthony Howard.

Survivors include his life partner, Joan Channel, of the home; three sons Ishma Graham, Tony Graham and Russell Graham, all of Hamlet, North Carolina; a daughter, Latoya Wilson, Raleigh, North Carolina; two brothers, Norman Harris and Vincent Terry; seven sisters, Angela Harris, Wanda Harris, Debra Jones, Monica Terry-John, Michele Knight, Kelly Washington and Carol Washington, and three grandchildren.

Tony willed his body to the University of Kansas School of Medicine. There are no services scheduled. Memorials are suggested to the Tony Allred Memorial Fund, to help with expenses, and may be sent in care of the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, PO Box 312, Onaga, KS 66521.
