Robinson, KS           Virginia Lee Larson (Gigi), age 91, died February 12, 2021 at Glenwood Village of Overland Park.

She was the daughter of Agur and Amy Tellefson Larson and was born at Horton, Brown County, KS, July 31, 1929.  Virginia grew up near Robinson, KS and had fond memories of working outdoors on the farm with her father.  She received a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Kansas in 1952 and a Master's degree in Education from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.  She taught grade school at Hickory Grove Elementary in Kansas City for a few years.  After completing her education, she moved to Santa Ana, then Irvine, CA, where she taught grades 2 and 3 for over 30 years in the Santa Ana School District.  Virginia was very proud of her work as an educator and was recognized several times by her peers for her accomplishments and dedication.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Agur and Amy, her sister Rebecca Ann Larson Bohon, and her nephew Brian Bohon.

Survivors include nieces Barbara Bohon of Kansas City, MO, Beth Dixon and husband Gary of Leawood, KS, Beth's children and grandchildren; Brian's wife Karma Bohon of Estes Park, CO, and many dear friends in California.

Private family graveside services will be held Monday at Rose Hill Cemetery, Robinson.
